Description - The name of the labor rate item as itĪppears in pull-down menus and on printed reports. The Labor Rate Table is comprised of the following two fields. Add/edit the fields of the Labor Rate Table as necessary.
WHAT IS SHOPKEY PRO SOFTWARE

WHAT IS SHOPKEY PRO HOW TO
You’ll see how to make changes to vehicle labor rate for exceptions as the entry process and the Vehicle screen are reviewed in other clips.ġ. The customer’s rate will be inherited by all of their vehicles. All future orders will use the newly assigned labor rate. You can change which change labor rate is assigned to a customer anytime by clicking the Type button on the customer screen. By having the default Labor Rate defined here (or alternate rate you select here) already selected for customers and vehicles that apply, users don’t have to stop and wonder or forget to apply the correct labor rate for this customer or vehicle since it is automatically decided. For example, a shop may assign a lower labor rate to fleet accounts or perhaps customers that are members of certain groups or organizations, while charging a higher labor rate for electrical work, diagnostics or heavy duty vehicles. Many shops use multiple labor rates to reflect their business strategy and range of customers. We’re just trying to automate customer entry so line 1 should reflect your typical retail labor rate. That’s not to say you can’t make changes, we’ll show you how along the way. This means that as new customers are entered for the first time, they will inherit this rate for any work performed on vehicles under their name without any further effort on your part. But, I think, I will stick with ShopKeyPro.The Labor tab where your shop’s labor rates are configured the most important thing to remember here is that the value entered on the 1st line is used as the default. I'd say the new AllData is a MAJOR improvement. VERY, VERY nice! I hope ShopKeyPro copies this. Stay zoomed in and scroll, horizontally, through all pages. You can zoom in on the left side of page one and the right side of page two, and view them BOTH, side-by-side, zoomed in. You can scroll HORIZONTALLY, even if zoomed in. And, will only let you scroll from one page to the next IF you are NOT zoomed in.ĪllData lays all the pages out, left to right. When an engine performance schematic has multiple pages, ShopKeyPro will ONLY let you scroll VERTICALLY, from one page to the next. The thing I see about AllData that I LOVE, is with the Mitchell schematics. Now, in addition to the Un-altered OE schematics, AllData ALSO has Mitchell schematics! (ShopKeyPro is Mitchell) That's pretty nice. I have, always, preferred ShopKeyPro because of their interactive, universally formatted, schematics. I still can't navigate through it, on my own, very quickly, but the Search Feature/Format is pretty nice. I must say, I like it better than I did before. I am, currently, taking AllData for another test drive. Am I seriously the only one who likes the new All Data lay out?
